Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh gingerroot, peeled and grated
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced and mashed to a paste with 1/4 t salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh chives

How To Make honey mustard dressing

  • Step 1
    In a bowl whisk together the mustard, the gingerroot, the vinegar, the soy sauce, and the garlic paste, add the oil in a stream, whisking, and whisk the dressing until it is emulsified.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the chives and salt and pepper to taste. Toss the dressing with salad greens.
