the base of this recipe comes from somethin my mom did when i was a kid she used the cottage cheese with onion souup mix to make chip dip for me the soup mix is to salty so i came up with this is best to make night before and keep in fridge it last a good week is great on any veggie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bacon,cut in small pieces and cooked extra crisp
  • 16 ounces no/low fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley/calontro
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 pinch dried dill weed

How To Make diane's dippin sauce/dressing

  • Step 1
    put cottage cheese in food processor mix til well blended and smooth add everything else but bacon mix til all incorperated well
  • Step 2
    remove to med size bowl stir in bacon and the grease from it[grease give it more flavor]
  • Step 3
    cover put in fridge overnight
  • Step 4
    i made this for garden fresh tomatoes also baked potatoes but is good on salads too or any raw veggie
