creamy basil salad dressing
This makes about a cup of dressing. If you're not comfortable using a raw egg, you can use a pasteurized egg product, found near the eggs at the grocery.

Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup neutral oil (grapeseed, canola, sunflower)
- 6 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
- 1 dash sugar
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
How To Make creamy basil salad dressing

Step 1Place the garlic, parsley, vinegar, mustard and egg in a small food processor (Bullet-type). Blend well.

Step 2Add the oil. Process until thick and smooth.

Step 3Add the basil, sugar, salt and pepper. Process briefly until blended. Taste. Adjust seasonings if necessary.
