Have leftover cranberries from Christmas? This is a great way to use them up. And its just a good flavored vinegar year round. Nice for gift giving. A friend gave me this recipe.

Ingredients For cranberry vinegar

  • 1/2 c
    dried cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 3/4 c
  • 3/4 c
    champagne vinegar
  • 1
    pinch of salt

How To Make cranberry vinegar

    In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, water, vinegar and salt, and bring to a boil.Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. In a blender, puree the ingredients on high speed. Strain out solids. Pour into an airtight container and keep at room temperature.
