Have leftover cranberries from Christmas? This is a great way to use them up. And its just a good flavored vinegar year round. Nice for gift giving. A friend gave me this recipe.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup champagne vinegar
- 1 - pinch of salt
How To Make cranberry vinegar

Step 1In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, water, vinegar and salt, and bring to a boil.Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. In a blender, puree the ingredients on high speed. Strain out solids. Pour into an airtight container and keep at room temperature.
