chunky blue cheese dressing or dip
This recipe came from a friend of mine who teaches Home Ec. Its so rich and delicious. I love the chunky texture of this dressing. It also works nicely as a dip for vegetables. If you are as big a fan of blue cheese as I am, I think you will like this, too.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- - sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 4 ounces blue cheese
How To Make chunky blue cheese dressing or dip

Step 1Stir together buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and garlic powder until well blended. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Step 2In a small bowl, mash blue cheese with a fork until mixture resembles very large-curd cottage cheese. Work until lumps are the size you prefer. Gently fold into set aside mixture. Chill and serve over green salad or as a dip for vegetables.
