Chris' Favorite Honey Mustard Sauce

My son was very particular about his Honey Mustard Sauce. This was the winning combination, after dozens of trials.

1 c
hellman's mayonaisse
1 c
nance sharp & creamy mustard
1 Tbsp
a-1 hearty spicy steak sauce
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice


1Over very low heat, mix Nance Sharp & Creamy Mustard and butter, until butter is melted and thoroughly incorporated into the mustard. (Mustard will separate from butter if heat is too high.)
2Empty mixture into a small mixing bowl. Add cold fresh lemon juice and allow to cool slightly.
3Add A-1 Sauce, mayonaisse and honey. Whip with a whisk or fork until all ingredients are incorporated.
4Refrigerate in tightly closed container. (Consider storing in plastic soda bottles with tight tops.)
Serve with chicken cutlets.
Spread on hot grilled ham & swiss cheese sandwiches.
Add to egg salad mixture.
Dip for fresh apple slices.
My favorite: Dip for pretzel rods.
