It's actually, "Chardonnay, Whole Grain Mustard & Honey Salad Dressing with Poppy Seeds", but I guess the title was too long! But whip this up, and you won't have to wait long for an incredibly delicious, homemade salad dressing, that tastes like a fine dining restaurant! EASY and uses simple ingredients! Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup coarse chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange blossom honey (please use real honey)
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon whole grain dijon mustard, (i used maille's old style)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon chardonnay
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds

How To Make chardonnay, mustard & honey salad dressing

  • Step 1
    Add ingredients into a blender except oil and poppy seeds. Place on lid and blend until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Remove center of lid, add the poppy seeds, and with blender on, slowly stream in oil.
  • Step 3
    Place into airtight container or glass jar and chill.
  • Step 4
    Store refrigerated. (Can sit out a little while before serving for best consistency and flavor).
