Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup whole buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chibes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

How To Make buttermilk bacon dressing

  • Step 1
    Cook bacon until crisp; set aside to cool. Crumble. In medium bowl, spoon 3 T. bacon fat. Add buttermilk, mayonnaise, mustard, chives, dill, salt, pepper and reserved bacon. Stir well. Store in refrigerator up to 9 days. Makes 2 cups.
