The recipe for this was missing for years. I recently found it and made the dressing. My husband polished it off quickly, and is already requesting it again.

I usually add a bit more blue cheese than the recipe calls for because we both love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 small
    onion
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 c
    blue cheese, crumbled

How to Make Blue Seas Salad Dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. Using a food processor, chop the onion.
    Add all other ingredients to processor bowl except the blue cheese.
  2. Blend until smooth. Stir in the blue cheese by hand.
    Chill.
    Best if made the day before serving.
  3. Makes 2 1/2 cups of dressing.
