blue cheese dressing
(1 RATING)
Having one GIANT brain fart here, can't remember where I found this recipe. The original does call for Stilton Blue Cheese, not only do I find it rather pricey but also stronger then I prefer. I used a locally made Blue Cheese and am thrilled with the results.

Ingredients
- 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 clove minced garlic
- - salt & pepper to taste
- - fried & crumbled bacon (optional)
How To Make blue cheese dressing
-
Step 1Whisk 3/4 cup blue cheese and the rest of the ingredient (but without the bacon).
-
Step 2I like to plate wedges of iceberg lettuce on individual salad plates, drizzle dressing over them, sprinkle on the bacon bits and top that with the leftover crumbled blue cheese.
-
Step 3This is just a simple salad but yet so rich.
