blue cheese dressing

I love Blue cheese dressing but I could not find one that was premade that seemed to taste as good as what I would get at my favorite steak house. I thought I would try to make my own, this one works. It is yummy. You can leave out the milk and it makes a good dipping sauce for some hot wings too.

Ingredients For blue cheese dressing

  • 1 1/2 c
    stilton blue cheese, softened and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 c
    mayonnaise (real mayonnaise)
  • 1 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2-3 dash
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder (more if you like to your taste)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 dash
    accent
  • milk to thin start with about 1/4 cup and go from there.
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried chives

How To Make blue cheese dressing

  • 1
    mix all ingredients together with exception to the milk. stir well. taste.. and add more spices if needed. (it is a matter of taste) Remember the flavors will come together as it sits in the refridgerator.

    Start adding milk and stir. Once you have it to the thickness you like cover and put into the refridgerator (if you are using this for a dipping sauce leave this step out)
