Bleu Cheese Dressing
I first titled this "Blue" Cheese Dressing but thought it might be confusing. I know it's really "Bleu" but I'm not French. And the Spell Checker doesn't like "Bleu" either. Italian Gorgonzola would solve the problem. And it's just as Yummy.
1/2 cmilk or buttermilk add to desieable consistancy
1/2 csour cream
1 1/2 tsplemon juice or real lemon
1 tspworsestershire sauce
1/2 tsptabasco sauce or to taste
4 to 6 ozblue cheese or gorgonzola
dash(es)salt and pepper
How to Make Bleu Cheese Dressing
- In a bowl combine and whisk all ingredients except Blue or Gorgonzola Cheese until smooth. Stir in crumbled Blue or Gorgonzola Cheese. Add a touch of salt and pepper to taste if you like. Great as a Salad Dressing or as a Dip for Veggies or Hot Wings. Makes 2/3 to 3/4 pint. I mix right in pint caning jar so there is no waste and clean-up, and store in fridge.
