It's Fall sports season and one of my family and friends favorites is hot wings. If you like blue cheese and celery with your hot wings, this is the perfect dip for you! I adapted it from a dip I had at a restaurant in New York. The original recipe had more ingredients, including fresh dill. We like it better without the dill.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper, freshly and coarsely ground
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 - stalks of celery, sliced

How To Make bleu cheese celery dip

  • Step 1
Mix together all ingredients, EXCEPT, celery and refrigerate for at least an hour. Just before serving, add celery and mix thoroughly.
  • Step 2
I usually serve this with hot wings, but we've used it as a dip with chips too.
  • Step 3
Alternatives: I've also made this with feta cheese and it turned out just as good.
