"betty" dressing
My family had this salad dressing at a Holiday Inn while on vacation in 1968. It was their "house dressing". We liked it so much my parents begged for the recipe. Our waitress, Betty, talked the cook into giving it up.

Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make "betty" dressing

Step 1Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

Step 2Serve at room temperature. Dressing will thicken considerably when refrigerated.
