This is my all time favorite salad dressing. I serve it on a bed of romaine lettuce with shaved parmesan cheese and big crunchy croutons

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar, light
  • 1 - garlic clove, pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 3/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin

How To Make balsamic vinegrette

  • Step 1
    Whisk together all ingredients except the olive oil.
  • Step 2
    Stream in the olive oil, whisking as you go.
  • Step 3
    Mix until the olive oil is incorporated and dressing thickens.
  • Step 4
    Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
