avocado sauce -quick and easy
I have a similar recipe posted ,using fresh ingredients. This one is using what I have on hand at the time--I just didn't want to go to the store...I must say this turned out just as good or better than the original. The Margarita Mix gave it a nice kick!

Ingredients
- 3 large avocados, pitted
- 1/2 cup frozen lime juice, scoop right from can
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic from jar with oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup dry basil seasoning
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup margarita mix, liquid kind

Step 1In a food processor or blender add all the ingredients, except the avocados and the Margarita Mix.. Process until smooth and creamy.

Step 2Add the avocado pulp and pulse until smooth. Add just enough Margarita Mix to make a nice smooth and creamy sauce. Can store in refrigerator until ready to use , within 2 days.
