wasabi and horseradish sauce/dip

This goes well with roast beef, and salmon. It also make a great dip for shrimp. You can substitute regular wasabi paste or make your own from powder. I am lucky to have an Asian market near by that stocks the pure paste. I get Tajin fruit seasoning at Walmart.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pure wasabe paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon chives, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon tajin fruit seasoning
  • - salt to taste

How To Make wasabi and horseradish sauce/dip

  • Step 1
    drain excess liquid from prepared horseradish before measuring
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients together and season with salt
  • Step 3
    chill in fridge for a few hours to let flavors meld
