I love going to Vietnamese restaurants and eating fresh spring rolls with delicious peanut sauce! This version is a yummy approximation!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup creamy natural or regular peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1-2 limes)
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (omit if using regular peanut butter)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons chile-garlic paste
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • chopped peanuts, for garnish

How To Make vietnamese style peanut sauce

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together.
  • Step 2
    Keep refrigerated until shortly before using. Sprinkle some chopped peanuts on top to serve.
