- 1/2 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or miracle whip
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make the best french onion dip

Step 1In medium skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat until melted; add onion. Cook and stire 3 to 5 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.

Step 2Remove from heat, stir in worcestershire sauce. Cool completely.

Step 3In medium bowl, combine cooled onion mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and papper; mix until blended.

Step 4Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

Step 5Will keep for days if covered and recipe doubles easily.
