Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or chuck browned & drained
- 1 lge - onion diced
- 1 lge - green pepper diced
- 1 can tomatoes regular or petite diced
- 1 lge can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup minute rice uncooked
- 2 teaspoons chile powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces shredded colbyjack cheese
- 1 package tortilla chips
How To Make texas hash

Step 1After browning & draining ground beef add onion & green pepper. Cook until tender

Step 2Stir in other ingreds. (except the cheese)& heat through.

Step 3Pour into ungreased 2qt casserole dish. Cover w/foil & bake 1hr @ 350*

Step 4Uncover the last 10 mins & top w/shredded cheese. **Note If eating just a few servings at a time I just melt the cheese as we eat the hash**

Step 5Serve w/tortilla chips
