1 lb
ground beef or chuck browned & drained
1 lge
onion diced
1 lge
green pepper diced
1 can(s)
tomatoes regular or petite diced
1 lge can(s)
tomato sauce
1/2 c
minute rice uncooked
2 tsp
chile powder
2 tsp
1/8 tsp
8 oz
shredded colbyjack cheese
1 pkg
tortilla chips


1After browning & draining ground beef add onion & green pepper. Cook until tender
2Stir in other ingreds. (except the cheese)& heat through.
3Pour into ungreased 2qt casserole dish. Cover w/foil & bake 1hr @ 350*
4Uncover the last 10 mins & top w/shredded cheese.
**Note If eating just a few servings at a time I just melt the cheese as we eat the hash**
5Serve w/tortilla chips
