I got this recipe from a friend about 10 years ago. I love mexican food and dips. This is excellent for your game day get togethers. I like to make it for our family reunions, because its something simple and everyone likes it.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 can (6 oz) sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 jar (16 oz) salsa
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 - (16 oz) container sour cream
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions
  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 2 cups shredded chedddar cheese

How To Make taco dip

  • Step 1
    Blend taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter or in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Mix the sour cream and cream cheese. Spread over the refried beans.
  • Step 3
    Pour salsa over the top. Than put lettuce,shredded cheese,tomato,green bell pepper,green onions and black olives over the salsa.
  • Step 4
    Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.
