Ingredients For sweet potato dip

  • 2
    medium sweet potatoes(about 1 1/4 lb.)
  • 2 Tbsp
    pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • dash
    ground black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    chopped pecans, toasted
  • 2 pkg
    baked naturals cracker chips,(any variety)

How To Make sweet potato dip

  • 1
    Place potatoes into 3 qt. saucepan and add water to cover. Heat over med-high heat to a boil. Reduce heat to med. and cook 15 min. or until potatoes are tender. Drain potatoes well in a colander. Peel potatoes. Return potatoes to saucepan. Mash potatoes. Stir potatoes, syrup, butter, lemon juice, ginger, nutmeg, black pepper and 3 T. pecans in med. bowl. Sprinkle with remaining pecans. Serve with cracker chips for dipping.
