sweet onion dip
(1 RATING)
My friend Janice gave this to me. And since our town is known for it's sweet onions, (besides being a wine destination) it seemed only natural that someone would come up with some great sweet onion recipes. Yummmeeee! Re sweet onions, the jumbo's are the sweetest. Some say you can eat them like an apple! I haven't tried that yet, but as soon as I get some jumbo's from one of our local growers, I will. However, any size sweet onion is great sliced in a sandwich with cream cheese (a great pairing), sliced radishes, lettuce, or whatever you like.
