My family loves this dip. I usually serve it with ripple chips and taco chips but I've also had guests dip carrot and celery sticks into it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients

  • 1 large cream cheese
  • 1 large sour cream
  • 1 - red pepper
  • 1 - green pepper
  • 2-3 - green onions
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1-2 jar salsa, chunky

How To Make super dip for ripple chips and/or taco's

  • Step 1
In a blender or bowl with mixer, blend equal amounts of sour cream with cream cheese. Pour into glass or plastic 9X13 pan (Do not use metal pan)and spread into an even layer from corner to corner.
  • Step 2
Carefully spoon your choice of salsa over this gently spreading to completely cover.
  • Step 3
Now sprinkle your finely chopped peppers and onions on top with the final layer being the grated cheese.
  • Step 4
This recipe is so versatile you can play around with the ingredients to suit your personal tastes. Add more cream cheese/sour ceam or put a heavier layer of salsa. Kick it up with a spicy salsa or play it down by using mild. Or to really take it over the top substitute jalapeno peppers in place of the green pepper.
