I prefer to use Knorr dry vegetable soup mix, the vegetables seem to be larger and more flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 large bread bowl
  • 1 package 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained
  • 1 - 10 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (olive oil)
  • 1 package knorr vegetable dry soup mix
  • 1 can 8 oz water chestnuts, drained & chopped
  • 3 small green onions

How To Make spinach dip

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl put spinach (pull apart), sour cream, mayonnaise, soup mix, water chestnuts & green onions and mix until well blended.
  • Step 2
    Cover and chill for at least 1 hour, preferably 2 to blend all the flavors
  • Step 3
    Take a round bread bowl and hollow it out (save that bread) spoon spinach dip into bowl and serve. Cut up a loaf of french bread to eat the dip with.
