Spinach & Cheese Dip
1 pkg8oz container of sour cream
1/2 can(s)(4oz can) sliced water chestnuts, drained and rinsed
2 Tbspsliced green onions or chives (few sprigs snipped)
1/4 pkg(10oz) frozen chopped spinich, thawed and squeezed to remove extra water
1/2 cor shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 pkg(1.8oz package) dry leek soup mix
2 Tbsproasted red peppers, chopped (optional)
How to Make Spinach & Cheese Dip
- Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts and fold in chopped spinach, cheese, red peppers. Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours, or overnight.
- To serve place dip in serving bowl with assorted vegetables and crackers, or place in a sweet bread bowl. Snip chives or sprinkle onions on top.
