spicy sausage queso
A big hit at all my parties! Serve with garlic toast, garlic pita chips, or tostados. (Recipe and pic were found on the Johnsonville Sausage site)

Ingredients
- - 16 oz. package of ground italian sausage (medium to hot)
- - 2 lbs melting cheddar cheese or velveeta (i prefer cheddar)
- - 16 oz jar of chunky salsa
- - 1 t. fennel seed crushed
- - 2 tsp. garlic powder
- - 1 tsp. anise seed, crushed
- - 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- - corn chips, tostados, garlic toast, garlic pita chips etc for dipping
How To Make spicy sausage queso

Step 1In a skillet cook and crumble sausage, till browned and no longer pink. Drain

Step 2Put cheese in a large microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 6 minutes or until melted. (Stir every 2 minutes)

Step 3Add salsa and stir. Add seasonings and sausage. Microwave 2 more minutes or until heated thru.
