5 slicebacon

1 Tbspolive oil

2 csliced mushrooms

1 smallonion, finely chopped

2 tspminced garlic

1 Tbspred wine vinegar

1 Tbspdijon mustard

1/4 tsppepper

3 cchopped spinach leaves

13 oz pkg cream cheese, softened

1/2 clite sour cream
-
2 Tbspmilk
How to Make Smokey spinach dip
- Cook bacon in lg skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Crumble 4 slices and set aside. Crumble remaining slices, cover and set aside for garnish.
- Remove drippings from pan. Add oil to pan, add mushrooms, onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat until mushrooms are tender. Stir in vinegar, mustard and pepper.
- Stir in spinach, cook, stirring until spinach is wilted. Add cream chees. Cook, stirring until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and milk, stir until smooth. Stir in 4 slices crumbled bacon. Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover, chill 4 hrs. Before serving, stir well and top w/ remaining bacon crumbles. Serve w/ crisp pita chips.
