We had some real bad weather on the coast a few weeks ago and I had lots of leftover seafood in the fridge. I threw the ingredients together in a baking dish and it turned out to be a hit. I've made it three times since then and can't stop eating it. The measurements are not exact as I just sort of toss whatever's on hand and bake. Canned crab and shrimp would be fine, too.

2 pkg
cream cheese, cut in cubes
1 c
crabmeat, fresh (chopped)
1-2 c
cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined, chopped
green onions or scallions, chopped fine
sweet onion, chopped fine
bell pepper (any color) chopped fine
tomato, seeded and chopped in small pieces
1 dash(es)
old bay seasoning
1 clove
garlic, chopped fine or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 dash(es)
worcestershire sauce

How to Make Shrimp and Crab Dip


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Mix all ingredients together in casserole dish and cover. Bake 20-30 minutes until cream cheese is melted and stir.
  • 3Top with a handful of shredded cheese (I used sharp cheddar). Bake until cheese is melted or broil til golden brown. Serve with nacho chips.
