seven layer fiesta dip

I was making taco's with my son and this is what happened. lol We got some of the recipe from a taco seasoning packet and the rest we put together.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans (16 oz)
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix, brand up to you
  • 2 cups mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced, optional
  • 1 medium avocado, diced and tossed in lime juice

How To Make seven layer fiesta dip

  • Step 1
    Put refried beans in a shallow serving dish. Mix the sour cream and taco seasoning mix together till well blended. Spread over refied beans.
  • Step 2
    Top with 2 cups of shredded cheese, the guacamole, tomatoes, green onions, black olives and diced avocados. It will be all in layers. Tossing the avocado in lime or lemon juice helps to keep from browning to fast.
  • Step 3
    Serve with your favorite chips or put it on a soft taco shell and roll it up.
