Got this recipe at neighborhood pot luck stationed on AFB back in the 80's. Had made several times & always get requests for it during football season. The guys seem to really like it!

Ingredients

  • ·
    1 lg cn of refried beans (rosarita brand)
  • ·
    1lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • ·
    1 pint sour cream
  • ·
    1-2 c sliced green onions (save a top for garnishment)
  • ·
    1/2 cup (more or less to taste) salsa
  • ·
    black olives, or jalapeno for garnishment

How to Make Rosarita Refried Bean Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Cooks beans with onions 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Add salsa -stir in shredded cheddar cheese
    Stir in sour cream.
  3. Put in baking dish and heat at 350 degree for 25 to 30 minutes. Garnish w/olives, peppers, olives. Serve with nacho chips.
