Ingredients
- 1 - dozen tomatillo's (soaked and cleaned)
- 6 - dried chilies (anchos or the smaller variety )
- 1/2 cup onion
- - cilantro
- - salt and pepper
How To Make roasted tomatillo salsa (mexican authentic)

Step 1Boil chilies and tomatillos in a saucepan for about 15 minutes. Process or blend and add onion and cilantro. Blend slightly more add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2This seems like it's too simple, but this is a regional recipe from MEXICO and it's great tasting. Very simple and delicious.

Step 3It has a dark brownish roasted color.People would never guess it was made from tomatillo's. You can add tomatoes if you want to tame the heat. Great as a dip with fajitas
