This is a great addition to any holiday party! My mom makes this every year and it's always a hit! I now make it for all my friends and co-workers and it's always requested at parties! Enjoy :)

Ingredients

  • 16 oz
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese or taco blend cheese
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 6-8 large
    spring onions / green onions
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes or diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can(s)
    refried beans
  • ·
    a handful of sliced jalapenos
  • 1
    bag of tortilla chips

How to Make Mom's Taco Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Spread the refried beans in a square or round cake or pie pan.
  2. Mix the sour cream with the taco seasoning and mix well.
  3. Top the refried beans with the taco seasoning/sour cream mix.
  4. Top in the following layers...diced tomatoes, then shredded cheese, then (chopped) green onions, then jalapenos. You may also add black olives and chopped onions.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips :)
