My mom used to make this when I was growing up and it was one of the first things I learned to cook on my own. It's a family favorite around here and we serve it as a meal or as an appetizer!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck, cooked
- 1 pound sausage (optional chorizo)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 ounces picante sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 large white onion
- 1 package velveeta cheese cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
How To Make momma's queso

Step 1Brown ground chuck and sausage.

Step 2mix ingredients in pot adding cheese slowly, and simmer stir frequently. use milk to thin. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted.

Step 3Serve over chips/burritos or anything you want!
