How To Make mexican-style seven layer dip
-
Step 1In small bowl, mix taco seasoning and sour cream.
-
Step 2On large platter or serving dish, spread refried beans in an even layer, covering to 1" of platter's edge. Spread sour cream mixture over this layer. I like to leave about a 1/4" border of beans showing for presentation purposes.
-
Step 3In order, sprinkle shredded lettuce, tomatoes, green chilis, cheese, and black olives. Serve with tortilla chips or Fritos. NOTE- if black olives are not to your taste, you can substitute salsa before adding shredded cheese.
