This is excellent for serving during Sunday afternoon football games. We use it as our meal for the evening. Soooooooo good!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 (16 oz) jar salsa
  • 2 (16oz) cans refried beans
  • 2 (4oz) cans chopped green chilies
  • 1 (2oz) can black olives, drained and halved
  • 2 (8oz) packages cream cheese, room temp
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 - bag of favorite corn chips
  • 1/3 cup sour cream

How To Make mexican lasagna-style dip

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown ground chuck and onions in a skillet. Drain beef mixture and add salsa, refried beans, green chilies and black olives.
  • Step 2
    Put mixture in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix the cream cheese with the sour cream and spread this mixture on top of beef mixture. Add more or less sour cream to make it a spreadable consistency. Top w/ Cheddar cheese.
  • Step 3
    Bake in oven 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
