  • 1 bunch
    cilantro, fresh
  • 1 medium
    hot chili pepper of choice, i use jalapeno a lot
  • 1 clove
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh chopped ginger root
  • 3
    fresh limes, juice only
  • 1/3 c
    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Mexican Green Sauce


  1. Wash cilantro very gently under running cold water.
  2. Chop cilantro, hot pepper, garlic and ginger root very fine. I usually use my food processor.
  3. Combine fresh lime juice, olive oil, salt and cumin in a small bowl.
  4. Pour over cilantro mixture and mix well. Chill and serve as a dip or with or on any of your favorite Mexican dishes.
