My good friend Mary, made this for us about 8 years ago and everyone loved it. She gave me the recipe and I have been making it ever since.I usually have to double the recipe when we have a large crowd, because everyone loves it so much!! I hope you will enjoy it too.

Ingredients

1 2lb box
velveeta cheese,cut into cubes
1 lb
lean ground beef
1 lb
jimmy dean sage or maple sausage
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 jar(s)
pace picante sauce
1 can(s)
rotelle tomatoes
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
2 family s pkg
tostitos scoops

How to Make Mary's Cheese Dip

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place cubes of velveeta in a crock pot on high.
  • 2Brown ground beef in a pan, drain and add to velveeta. Do the same with the Jimmy Dean sausage.
  • 3Add in cream of mushroom soup,picante sauce,rotelle tomatoes and garlic powder.
  • 4Cook on high for about 20 minutes,stirring frequently.Turn down to medium or low for about 20 more minutes.Serve in bowls with Tostitos Scoops.Enjoy!!
