Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas - garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 cloves garlic, grated or minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (or use more)
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
- assorted veggies or pita bread, to dip
How To Make lemony hummus

Step 1Puree chickpeas and other ingredients together until smooth. If too thick, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2Serve with vegetable crudités. Also good with pita bread wedges or crisps.
