Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    mirin (sweet japanese rice wine)
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried bonito shavings (katsuo-bushi)

How to Make Lemon-Soy Dipping Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, mirin, 2 tablespoons water and bonito in small bowl. Let stand 30 minutes. Strain sauce through fine strainer; discard bonito shavings. (Can be made 4 hours ahead. Cover and let stand at room temperature.)
