jalapeno popper dip

This was posted on another site by a mixer called CMorrison64. I have made this many, many times. I made a few changes that I'll note. http://appetizer.betterrecipes.com/jalapeno-popper-dip-8.html (the original link) After I bake it, I put it in a mini crock pot to keep it warm. They always want me to bring it for fall parties.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened ( low fat is just as good)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces chopped green chilis, drained ( i double this amount)
  • 4 ounces canned jalepenos chopped (i use 3 or 4 fresh jalapenos seeded and diced)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, fresh grated (do not use the green can!)

How To Make jalapeno popper dip

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Combine cream cheese, mayo and peppers. Pour mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and brown. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
