1 can(s)(small can) jalapeno peppers (diced), juice reserved

3 Tbsptahini (or chicken broth) or both

3 clovegarlic, minced

2 Tbsplemon juice

1/2 tspground cumin

1/2 tspcurry powder

·crushed red pepper to taste
How to Make JALAPENO HUMMUS
- In a blender or food processor, mix the garbanzo beans, jalapeno peppers and reserved juice, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice. Season with cumin, curry powder, and crushed red pepper. Blend until smooth.

Cilantro-Jalapeno Hummus
1 (15-oz) can of chickpeas
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 jalapeno, ribs and seeds removed
1-2 tablespoons chicken broth
