Ingredients For jalapeno & beer queso

8 ozmonterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers, shredded

8 ozcheddar cheese, shredded

2 Tbspall purpose flour

1 cbeer, your favorite (regular or non alcoholic)

1 tspmustard, ground

1 - 4 oz. cansliced jalapenos, minced (optional - to your liking)
How To Make jalapeno & beer queso

1In a large bowl, toss the cheeses with flour until coated.

2In a medium saucepan, heat beer on medium heat until just starting to simmer. Slowly add the cheeses in small handfuls at a time while whisking constantly. Lower heat to low & whisk in mustard powder & sliced jalapenos (if using).

3Mix well & transfer to a fondue pot, a bowl on a hot plate or small crock pot.
