Ingredients
- 8 ounces monterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers, shredded
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 cup beer, your favorite (regular or non alcoholic)
- 1 teaspoon mustard, ground
- 1 - 4 oz. cans sliced jalapenos, minced (optional - to your liking)
How To Make jalapeno & beer queso

Step 1In a large bowl, toss the cheeses with flour until coated.

Step 2In a medium saucepan, heat beer on medium heat until just starting to simmer. Slowly add the cheeses in small handfuls at a time while whisking constantly. Lower heat to low & whisk in mustard powder & sliced jalapenos (if using).

Step 3Mix well & transfer to a fondue pot, a bowl on a hot plate or small crock pot.
