I love crab dip but when my 3 sons were growing up I couldn't afford crab. In fact, the only crab in the house was ME! I got this recipe from a friend years ago. I believe I ate the entire bowl in one sitting. The imitation crab is just a white fish that you can find packaged in the fish section of the grocers. It's already packaged. Looks like crab,too.
This would be a great appetizer to serve while you're finishing up with your Easter Dinner preparations.

    1 16oz. sour cream
  • ·
    1 8oz. cream cheese room temp
  • ·
    1 pkg. dry ranch dressing
  • ·
    1 small pkg. imitation crab meat (it's cooked already)
  • ·
    ritz crackers to serve on

How to Make IMITATION CRAB DIP (Great stuff!)

Step-by-Step

  1. In bowl, beat or whisk all ingredients EXCEPT fish. Chop up meat (more like chicken for chicken salad) Stir until blended. Chill a couple hours while flavors marinate. Serve with crackers.
