Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
How To Make hummus

Step 1Place all ingredients in a food processor or a blender and process until smooth. You may need to add a little more olive oil to get a nice, smooth texture that is easy to dip. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving or if you prefer you can also serve at room tempature.

Step 2NOTE* The tahini can be sometimes found at regular grocery stores or at a middle eastern groceries.
