hot spinach artichoke dip

Delicious served with crackers. It is a very pretty dish for a shower, luncheon, or just a "girls" get together. It's very close to the restaurant Artichoke Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 package light cream cheese, softened
  • 1 - 14 ounce can or jar artichokes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Parmesean cheese (freshly grated is best)
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced basil or 1 - 2 Tablespoons fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese, more may be added to suit your taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Accent
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Chili sauce, optional, but it really gives it a good flavor
  • 1/2 - 10 ounce box frozen and thawed spinach, drained and water squeezed out really well
  • - red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1/2 - 1 cups Pepper Jack cheese, or other white cheese of your choice
  • 3/4 cup sour cream

How To Make hot spinach artichoke dip

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients, (saving some of the Pepper Jack to put on top in last few minutes of baking). Put mixture in sprayed baking dish and bake about 20 minutes. Put rest of cheese on top and bake until bubbly. About 25-30 minutes in total baking time.
