Made this the first time at New Years eve, it was a big hit with everyone.

1 lb
1/4 c
onions, chopped
1/2 c
mild or hot taco sauce
1-16oz can(s)
refried beans
1 1/4 c
shredded cheese


1Cook and stir ground beef and onions in a 10-inch skillet until brown. Stir in taco sauce, beans and 1 cup of the cheese. Heat, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Pour into a dish, sprinkle remaining cheese over top and serve with tortilla chips.
