hot artichoke dip

I grew up on Artichokes since my family is from Southern Italy, I think I can't ever get enough Artichoke anything and this dip is so yummy with the gooeyness of the cheese. I love it with Wheatables, Pita or wholegrain tortilla chips! You can also multiply this recipe as needed.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 - green onions sliced thin
  • 1 - 14 oz. can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 - 8oz. block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • - dash of hot sauce
  • - dash of worcestershire sauce
  • - salt & pepper to taste
  • - add some crab meat if you'd like and as much as you like! it's optional.

How To Make hot artichoke dip

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand held electric mixer until smooth. Then beat in the mayonnaise until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir together until combined. Transfer the dip to a pie plate or shallow gratin dish. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling. Serve hot with crackers, tortilla chips, crostini or veggies.
