holiday appetizer pie
My pastor's wife in NY served this at their annual open house and my husband loved it. I make it when we tailgate on the plains in Auburn. Must be served warm with a great cracker.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 jar dried beef, chopped
- 4 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 4 tablespoons green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
- - additional pecans for sprinkling on top
- - fresh chopped parsley for garnish if desired
How To Make holiday appetizer pie

Step 1Blend together cream cheese and milk. Mix well.

Step 2Stir in dried beef, green pepper and onion. Mix well. Stir in sour cream and nuts.

Step 3Spoon into a 9-inch pie plate or shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Bake at 350-degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 4Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot with crackers.
